The finance industry is probably the most important industry in the U.K. it basicaly keeps the country running. The finance industry is very definately a more capital intensive industry, because it doesnt require any heavy lifting or physical work, it mainly requires you to work with a lot of figures and facts.

DOES THIS NATION USE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY IN ITS ECONOMY, PROVIDE AN EXAMPLE:
Yes this nation is extremely advanced in terms of technology, many industries rely on technology to excell in that particular field. Industries such as the mining industry and construction work depend quite heavily on technology.

WHAT IS ONE OF THE MAJOR ECONOMIC PROBLEMS FACED BY THIS ECONOMY. WHAT ARE BUSSINESSES/GOVERNMENT DOING TO SOLVE IT?:
Government debt is quite a large scale problem in the UK with the debt alledgedly scaling up to 1.3 trillion pounds. So far the English government has made no plans to fix this large problem that threatens to ruin the UK economy.

IN WHAT WAYS IS THE UK'S ECONOMY SIMILAR TO AUSTRALIA'S:

The UK's economy is quite similar to australias in the way that they both have a market economy meaning that a lot of our economy is run by the people, and the government.
