THE SNOW LEOPARD

the snow leopard livesin snowy mountain ranges of central asia, from Afghanistan to lake Baikal. It lives on a diet of ibexes, bharal, markhor, urial, deer, boars, pikas, armots, and other rodents. the life span of a regular snow leopard is 18-21 years. the snow leopard cant roar proparly like other leopards because it has deformed vocal cords. the bones of the the snow leopard can be used in ancient asian remedies. the snow leopard isnt actually a leopard it is the sole member of the genus uncia uncial but is also commonly reffered to as panthera uncia.the snow leopard even though it is on the critically endangered list is under threat of hunters trying to obtain its precious fur. the snow leopard like many animals contributes its part to cimate change by breathing out carbon dioxide and excreting faeces which lets off the substance methane.
